In conjction with the up-coming OPS SELAMAT CNY 2024, Malaysia Red Crescent (MRC) Penang Chapter launched its 24 hours ambulance service for the community in Penang Island, North Seberang Perai, Central Seberang Perai & South Seberang Perai. This service will begin from 07/02/2024 – 13/02/2024.
We would like to thank YAB Tuan Chow Kon Yeow (Chief Minister of Penang) for officiating the launching ceremony. Also, a big thank you to Greatech Technology Berhad for their donation of one (1) unit of ambulance worth RM200,000.00 and exclusively sponsoring the MRCS Penang Chapter OPS Selamat CNY 2024 program worth RM25,000.00
Publics are urged to call 999 in the event of medical or trauma emergency for the hospital to locate the nearest ambulance to reduce the response time and provide early pre-hospital care management before sending the patient to the nearest hospital for advanced care.
