Leadership Workshop – Meeting with your leader

Successful leaders are those who can inspire their members, mobilize resources, and improve team efficiency to deliver desired performance. Leadership is required at all levels and is important as it determines the level of performance of a team or an organization. Do you know the skills and tools to lead a team effectively? 

Ladies and gentlemen, the Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) Penang Chapter will be organizing the first leadership workshop Series: “Meeting with your leader” for selected members nominated by the branch and the chapter officers. This is part of the strategic initiatives to produce more future leaders of MRCS who share the same aspiration in promoting MRCS movement and humanitarian principles.

This year, we are glad and honor to have Associate Professor Dr Tan Jun Jie, our Assistant Director of Cadet and Junior Red Crescent, who is also a lecturer from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) as the speaker for this workshop. The workshop will be conducted in 4 series in a year, which covers several core modules including basic leadership theory and practice , organizational behaviors,  project management, and strategy planning and execution. 

Upon course completion, all selected members will be given opportunities to involve in different projects at different branches or at the chapter level and be mentored by the appointed senior officers in MRCS Penang Chapter.
