Overview
The latest Malaysian data shows the majority (44%) of new HIV cases are youths aged between 20 and 29. Alarmingly, 222 HIV cases are among IPT (Institusi Pengajian Tinggi) students in 2024, with a total of 1,091 cases reported between 2021 and 2024. Many youths are still unaware how HIV transmits and what they should know to prevent themselves from getting infected. In this era of modern medicine, we have seen HIV treatment and prevention much simplified, and we hope to reach out to speak to the youth to create awareness, spread the knowledge and engage to break stigma and answer your doubts and enquiries.
