ANNUAL FUND RAISING DINNER 2009
Friday, May 1st, 2009The Malaysian Red Crescent Society, Penang Branch will once again be organizing its Annual Fund Raising Dinner for the year 2009 to raise funds to support its Humanitarian activities. The dinner will be held at the Grand Ballroom, Equatorial Hotel, Penang on Sunday, August 9, 2009 at 8.30 p.m. The dinner will be graced by the Governor of Penang.
MRC Penang Branch annually organises programmes such as Annual Parade, World First Aid Day and other on-going projects such as community and health awareness campaign, blood donation campaigns, emergency response & disaster preparedness, ambulance services, and first aid courses and training. Together with the administrative expenses, Penang Branch requires approximately RM1million annually to carry out these humanitarian activities and community services to the public.
The abovementioned dinner is one of the fund raising projects planned for the year 2009 whereby we hoped to raise RM150,000.
All donations towards the dinner are tax exempted. All cheques should be made payable to “MRCS Penang Branch”. Thank you for your kind attention and looking forward to your generous support.
