The Malaysian Red Crescent Society, Penang Branch will be organising A First Aider in Every Home Awareness Campaign on the 12th November 2006 at Prangin Mall (Ground Floor).
The campaign will be officiated by YB Ng Fook On, State Assembly Member for Batu Lancang.
There will showcase first aid demonstration and exhibition.
This event is jointly organised with Panel Penasihat, Klinik Kesihatan Jalan Perak and Department of Youth and Sports.
The MRCS certified instructors (Jurulatih PBSMM) are those members who completed the studies and passed all required certification modules with excellent.
Refresher and renewal of certificate in first aid needed every Three (3) years and must actively conduct the training courses for members and public.
Their certificates and badges are issued by National Headquarter and world wide recognised by International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
1. All Chapters must form an Awards Committee chaired by the Chapter Chairman for the selection of nominees. All Awards Committee meeting minutes must be sent to the Branch.
2. All recommendations from Chapters’ Sub-Committee Chairman, VAD Commandants or Youth Officers must go through the Chapter Chairman.
3. In accordance to the Nomination Form, the age must be counted based on 1st January of the Year of Birth.
4. All photographs must be pasted at the designated box on the top right hand corner of the Nomination Form.
5. All nominees’ position stated must be accordance with the Handbook and Constitution.
