Voluntary Aid Detachment 20 together with the Health and Community Service Committee, Island Chapter will be organising the annual Christmas Party for the unfortunate children at the Paediatrics Wards, Penang Hospital. This event will be held on 10 am, 16 December 2006 at Ward C1 and C2, Penang Hospital.

The children will be entertained with magic show and baloon sculpture. They also each receive a party pack to celebrate the holiday season.

This event is held annually and is partially funded by corporate and individual donors.

Venue: Island Plaza, Tanjung Tokong

Curious and interested to know what the VAD does and how its members contributed towards the community voluntarily? Then why not come along and join us our 1st VAD Open Day with the theme ‘Humanity Volunteerism Day’. There will be an exhibition showcasing the activities of our various VADs. Our members will be on hand to guide you through the exhibition and answer your queries.

Before you leave, why not sigh up and become a VAD member yourself? We will be very glad to welcome you aboard. Qualification required: Desire to help others.
